Energy upgrade grant opportunity for SMEs

This fast-turnaround Australian Government program is targeting small- to medium-sized businesses in the food and beverage sectors nation-wide.

The Energy Efficient Communities (EEC) Program – Food and Beverage Manufacturing Business Grant opportunity opened for applications last week, on January 12th, 2022, and closes on February 18th.

Eligible activities include monitoring and optimising energy use and emissions.

Grants of up to $25,000 are available (minimum of $10,000), on a first-in-first-served basis for eligible SME businesses and their projects.

We recommend getting applications in as early as you can.

The official announcement says: ‘Up to $19.984 million is available with a funding allocation for each state and territory. Grants will be awarded to eligible applicants on a first come, first served basis until the state or territory funding allocation is reached.’
